Cathy TortoriciOrganization: National Marine Fisheries Service Cathy Tortorici has worked for the Federal Government (Environmental Protection Agency) and NOAA Fisheries [National Marine Fisheries Service] for over 20 years. While at EPA, she worked as the Missouri River Coordinator on water resource/Big River issues, and held a number of different positions within EPA Region VII including TMDL Coordinator and Wetlands Enforcement Coordinator. Now with the National Marine Fisheries Service, Cathy is the Branch Chief of the Oregon Coast/Lower Columbia River Branch. The Branch addresses restoration, regulatory, research, and monitoring activities of coastal systems at the local and regional scale. Cathy has a Bachelor's degree in biology. She received her Master's degree in entomology from the University of Kansas in 1985. |
